Dave grew up playing AAA hockey in Penticton, B.C. before going on to a successful junior career in the WHL and BCHL. After junior, he attended the University of Alberta and played for the Golden Bears Hockey Program winning the CIS National Championship in 2005 where he graduated with his Bachelor of Physical Education Degree with a minor in sports management. After a brief stint in the UHL Dave turned his focus to coaching goaltenders full time. Dave has been instructing goalies for the past 17 years and has gained a wealth of knowledge along his journey. Dave is currently the goalie coach for Swift Current (WHL), Univ of Alberta Golden Bears and Pandas (USport) as well as NAIT Womens Hockey Team (ACAC).
Jamie enjoyed a successful junior hockey career with the Prince George Spruce Kings (BCHL), Penticton Panthers (BCHL) and the Merritt Centennials (BCHL). After concluding his junior career, Jamie went on to play for Brandon University Bobcats (CIS) and the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns (CIS). After completing his Bachelor of Arts Degree at the University of Lethbridge, Jamie went on to play professionally for the Anchorage Aces (WCHL) and Victoria Salmon Kings (ECHL). Jamie has been instructing goaltenders for the past 19 years. Jamie is currently the goalie coach for Spruce Grove Saints (AJHL), Merritt Centennials (BCHL) and NAIT Mens Hockey Team (ACAC).
Karen is in charge of all the administrative activities at ATC Goaltending. Karen has been working with ATC Goaltending for the past 8 years. Karen is the initial point of contact for all ATC Goaltending inquiries; due to the high volume of calls and emails Karen receives please allow 24-48 hours before she addresses your questions/concerns.
Allen has been working with ATC since the 2016 summer. Allen recently completed a lengthy playing career that included playing games for Columbus (NHL) as well as numerous games in both the ECHL and AHL. Allen is a passionate coach who relates easily with the goalies and this allows him to create an instant coach/athlete bond that creates great results! Allen is currently the goaltending coach for NAX (CSSHL) and Camrose Kodiaks (AJHL)
Chris has been working with ATC since 2007 where he has brought energy and enthusiasm to each session he is on ice for. Chris played for 3 seasons in the WHL for the Kelowna Rockets and currently teaches Grade 5 in Beaumont. Chris works in an on ice lead role during all ATC MHA clinics and can be heard on ice during each 1on1 session with his infectious enthusiasm.
Rhys has been working with ATC since 2010 and before that he was a student with ATC from first year midget until he finished his Jr career. Rhys played Jr A hockey in Grande Prairie (AJHL), Nanaimo (BCHL) and St Albert (AJHL) and just finished his education degree at Concordia Univ where he played 4 years for the Concordia Thunder (ACAC). Rhys has a passion for the technical side of playing goal and is always on the cutting edge of new technical advancements within the position. Rhys is currently a full time substitute teacher in the Black Gold School District.
Matt has been working with ATC since 2012 and has been the head goalie coach for Parkland Athletic Club the past 5 years. Matt is passionate about everything goaltending and is always making sure that his students not only learn something new each time they step on the ice but that they always have fun and enjoy the process of being a goalie. Matt is a fixture on staff during the hockey season as he is running MHA clinics, helping run 1on1s as well as attending numerous team practices. Matt still loves to strap the pads on and was most recently playing Senior AA with the Devon Barons.
Tanner is one of the original ATC clients and has now been instructing for the past 5 years. Tanner recently completed a very successful Jr A career finishing with the Whitecourt Wolverines of the AJHL. Tanner is in his third year of playing and studying at Concordia College of Edmonton (ACAC). Tanner is a fixture at our academy, 1on1 and Summer camp sessions!
Chris has been working with ATC for the past 7 years where he has been a jack of all trades. Chris can be found running drills on ice, giving lectures off ice, helping the goalies improve their hand eye or making sure the music is on point with his Spotify playlists. Chris is an invaluable member of the ATC team! Chris is currently in his fifth year of study and playing at MacEwan University (ACAC) where he helped guide the Griffins to the ACAC title last season.
Brendan currently plays at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in the ACAC. During his minor hockey career, he won 3 California State championships and was also chosen to represent the United States in an Under-17 five-nations tournament oversees. Brendan played Junior hockey in the NAHL, WHL, and USHL, finishing up his junior hockey with the Fargo Force. In 2011 he attended Vancouver Canucks rookie camp in Penticton, BC. Brendan has been working with ATC for the past 2 winters, ou ca find him at 1on1, academy and MHA clinic sessions!
Austin is one of the many staff members that has transitioned from client to coach and he is now in his 4th season of coaching with ATC. Austin is currently the goalie coach of Bantam AA at the Canadian Athletic Club (CAC). Austin is a staple at all our Minor Hockey Clinics, Academy and 1on1 sessions as well as our summer camps.
MARC OLIVER DAIGLE
Marc has been a long time client of ATC and has been working with us since 2015. Marc played in the QMJHL with Halifax before coming out west to star with the Drayton Valley Thunder of the AJHL. Marc is currently playing with MacEwan Griffins (ACAC) where he is studying business. Marc helps out at our academy and 1on1 sessions during the season.
Eric has been working at ATC Summer camps the past 2 years. Eric still trains at ATC when he is not helping the young goalies at camps. Eric recently completed playing Jr hockey with the Ft McMurray Oil Barons of the AJHL. Eric is currently playing with the MacEwan Griffins (ACAC) where he is taking his Arts degree. Eric will be helping out at academy, MHA Clinics and 1on1 sessions all season long.
